Ah, you're right. For some reason I didn't see it when I was browsing. I probably wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't been eating breakfast at the time, either!

The whole contrast between the way that 'sexual' and 'violent' images is just a pet peeve of mine, sorry about that.

And congrats on the DD, of course!

People are probably upset because dogs are companion/working animals, like horses. They'e been selectively bred to work alongside humans, (until relatively recently, when they've started being bred for consumption) so eating them is much closer to eating a fellow man than, say, a chicken, which has never served a purpose other than providing food.

People get attached to their pets, but it doesn't make those animals to be treated as pets on the other side of the world, or on the other side of the ocean.

We eat horses, rabbits... in France and it is accepted by the french population, though horses and rabbits can also be pets.

I like the shot, I've just never really understood what's so good about eating dogs and cats. Look at that thing! There's barely any meat on there! Now a nice, fat, juicy chicken is what I'm talking about.. XD

I really really want to know what dog ( or cat) tastes like. I mean. They seem like they would taste pretty good. But I ooobviously cant have dog or cat meat sent over here. It's probably not legal.

Great photo! In my country we eat cows and pigs, but they're not for display on a market.
They come in nice clean anonymous packages, so we don't ever have to be disturbed...
